Why is it that when you think you’re doing the right thing, it can still feel wrong?

  1. Hmmm….seems to me that if it “feels” wrong, maybe you need to re-think it?

  2. Depends on who has convinced you that the “right” thing is the only way to go.

In my experience, if it feels wrong, then it is.

  3. I’m guessing at an underlying tone here, so I’ll just say… you have to do what you know in your heart is right. 🙂

  4. Um, I just don’t know. Maybe because life is like a box of chocolates??? AHAHAHHA!!! Sorry, I’m a little loopy. Just had a minute and wanted to check in on my favorite running girl 🙂

  5. I know this was hard for you. You are an amazing person (as I’ve heard many times over) and I wish you the best.

  9. Don’t know really what to say, i’m assuming reading between the blog lines, if you’re not happy about something I suppose you’ve got to go with your heart else you’ll be miserable, life sucks at times doesn’t it. Big hugs for you.

I wish I was some wise old chick who could offer some words of wisdom but I can’t.

  10. Hmmm, Jimmy Buffet says to put a conch shell to your ear. Maybe the answer will become more clear at another time.

P.S. Looks like you’re in for some rain…no “partying” out in it either!

  11. “Does it get any easier?”

    (Quote from Lost in Translation)

Sadly, no it doesn’t. Often we have only our feelings as a guide, and even then they can be treacherous.

But if you think you’re doing the right thing, you probably are.

  12. I think that’s one of things that makes doing the right thing hard. You never know for sure if it’s right.

  13. If you are doing the right thing for yourself and you enjoy it, the uneasy sense may be guilt. We live in a society that encourages feeling guilt when we enjoy ourselves.
