Again with the weather!

Filed under: Uncategorized — by InterstellarLass @ 12:39 pm

Oh my. So some of you are freezing off your toes-ies. Well, not me. I’ll be sweating my way through the kitchen tomorrow. Today’s high is forecast to be 77. Right now it’s 72. Tomorrow is forecast to be 70. No! No! No! Not when I’ve got the oven cranked to 450! This is autumn! Crisp air! Falling leaves! The aroma of burning wood wafting in the breeze! Dammit! Ever heard of sweater weather? Well, we’ve got sweat-weather. That’s it. I’m packing my bags and headed for cooler climes. But probably not for another 11 or 12 years…

  1. Don’t sweat it. Just wear your apron and nothing else. You might actually get some extra help in the kitchen that way.

  7. It’s 21 degrees here in the NE. Brrrrr.
Yes, I started my coal stove today and my living room is currently a balmy 78 degrees. All I need now is a freekin’ palm tree and a Pina Colada. I’m in shorts and a t-shirt and my wife is sleeping on the couch wearing flannel PJ’s and covered in a soft, thick afghan…
What’s up with that? Do you ladies ever sweat?
    Go figure. 😉

  8. We’ve had fog since Saturday night and it has not lifted once! At all! and now tonight, supposed to go down to 12 degrees.
I wish it would just snow if it’s gonna be like this, but only had some tiny flakes this morning.
