Come on. If you are any kind of nerd at all, you know what the title of this post means. I dare you to answer.

Today’s garage sale went well. I made money. It wasn’t a waste of time like the last one. I didn’t sell all the pieces, but I have lines one people that are interested in some of the big ones that are left over.

It was hot, and now it’s over. Whew! Oh, and the free water went over well. Sad thing is, everyone that I offered it to asked if I was selling it. And acted shocked when I said it was free.

  1. oh cool, acro!

  2. Isn’t is amazing that when you want to do something nice for people they act like YOU are the freak?? We saw this recently at Hersheypark. When we asked people to go in front of us in a ride line, so we could ride with friends, it was like asking for their first born. I just don’t get it! Glad the sale went well!!

  5. I only found out what QAPLA means but using the power of google.

Glad it went well. We could do with doing something like that to get rid of some of our stuff!!

  6. I am so glad it was successful.

People are just not used to getting anything of value for free…

  7. You’re using Klingon on your blog?

You can no longer call me a nerd (no matter how many times I see Clerks II). You are the biggest nerd in the family. Congratulations honey.

Now, if you’ll excuse me I’m going to the holodeck. I’ve loaded in the program where we’ve won the lottery and I sit at home and watch the Rockford Files.

  8. It’s sad that we all expect nothing for nothing. Kindness is in the same catagory I think.

I try to teach Kendell to do things out of kindness..hopefully it will sink in.

I like that he holds the doors for people…that’s one step in the right direction at least.

  11. Ooh, Success! I’m glad the yard sale was a success, they can be very draining. Did you serve your patrons gagh or maybe some Bloodwine? Mmmmmm.
