What Weekend?

Filed under: Interstellar Casa — by InterstellarLass @ 7:42 am

Saturday passed in a blur. It was over before I knew it, and by the time I fell into bed, my back was aching. Nick and the kids emptied out the room, except for my armoire. It was too hard to get in. I wasn’t taking it out.

I only ended up with one mishap on the moulding, and I’m pretty sure I have the paint in the garage to fix it. I taped, primed (3 coats!) and painted (2 coats!), and de-taped. And then Nick and I set up the bed. Sunday was shelves and nightstands. We still have to hang things on the wall, so we’re not quite done. It was almost our own personal episode of Trading Spaces. Check back tomorrow for the full finished product.

  2. Yeah, I hate the masking job too. Maybe that’s why I never get around to painting.

Way to go, chic designer and hot carpenter!

  3. Your style reminds me of Genevieve and Frank. Nick is a pretty close Carter.
