I Ran

Filed under: Running Life — by InterstellarLass @ 9:52 pm

Saturday I ran a half marathon. 13.1 miles in Indianapolis. It felt good. Wheels started to come off around mile 11, but I managed to keep my rusty bolts together and crossed the finish line near my goal. Need to reset/confirm a goal here soon to keep it up.

  1. Good for you! I’ve been trying to get myself to a point where I can jog. I run out of breath. All my life it’s been this way. I think jogging (running) would feel so good and free. I’m proud of you!

  2. Woot! Glad to see this.

    I ran last night. It wasn’t a 1/2 marathon, more like a 1/20th marathon.

  4. I haven’t been over here in a while. It’s good that you’re running again. Yay you!

I need to get back to walking, I’d like to hike the Appalachian trail next year with the family, and we all need to crank up for it.

  6. Really awesome job. I’ve entered a few 5Ks and 10Ks and they were difficult enough. 13 miles is a serious accomplishment.

  12. Hi there, followed from Totally Tabletops. Thank you for being so understanding and allowing that mom and her kids to learn a valuable lesson, that we are all people no matter what we look like. We are a black family, and living out in our small city near Seattle, one would think that people would not be amazed by us, and yet they are. Alot of kids love to rub my boys’ hair (they are 4 and 7) and it’s a bit odd, but my boys don’t mind, they rub back. Come on http://tropaadet.dk/woodarddelaney1273081845
